Spend a half day seeing important cultural and historical sites in Cairo when you travel to Old Cairo and the Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
The bazaar is one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in all of the Middle East, dating back to 1382.
After spending time walking around the bazaar or shopping, continue to Old Cairo. Visit the Hanging Church, which dates back to the 3rd century AD. Then see the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is, according to a local tradition, located on the site where Moses was found when he was a baby.
Continue on to see the Church of St. Barbara and the Church of Abu Serga, two of the oldest churches in Cairo.
